Zephyr Church Fall Festival is October 21

On the evening of October 21, the Zephyr church will come together in fellowship, praise and thanksgiving. It will be our Fall Festival in which we offer thanks for all that God has given us in a special way. We will gather in the fellowship hall of the church at 6:30 p.m. We will enjoy a wonderful meal together. You will want to experience the entertainment that is expected. BUT more than anything we will come together to dedicate our Thanksgiving Offerings. You are invited to reach deep into your hearts and give. As the scriptures put it, "with glad and generous hearts." (See Acts 2:43-47) Each family is asked to come, offering their generous gift.

Church Conferences Scheduled for October 16

It is during this time of the year that United Methodist churches everywhere have their most important business meeting of the year. It is only through our Charge/Church Conference that we can take care of certain details. Much effort goes into identifying our spiritual leaders for the coming year, these leaders are presented to the entire church and you have the opportunity to elect those who have been nominated or offer your choice of leader in any area. We will celebrate the ministry of this past year and look forward to ministry ahead. We will consider important financial business, including the setting of the pastor’s salary. Our District Superintendent, Rev. Jim Olney, will be bringing us a message of inspiration.
