VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR GENERAL CONFERENCE DISTRICT DAY!!

      General conference is just around the corner and your help is needed. We need volunteers for the Brownwood District Day on May 1, 2008.

      For those who do not wish to drive to Fort Worth, a chartered bus will be provided for the day. There is no cost for riding the bus (meals are on your own) and the tentative schedule is as follows:

      The Chartered Bus will depart from Early FUMC at 6:30 am. A second stop and pick up will be made at Stephenville FUMC around 7:30 am. The tentative plan is for the bus to pick us up at 4:00 pm in Fort Worth for the return trip. There is a possibility that the pick-up time will be changed to 5:00 or 5:30 pm. The time will be confirmed very soon.

      HELP US FILL UP THE BUS!! We need to know the number planning to ride the bus as soon as possible as the number will determine the size of bus we charter. We also need to know the number of volunteers who plan to provide their own transportation!

      If you are interested in volunteering for the Brownwood District Day at General Conference, please contact the district office by no later than Friday, March 28th. The deadline for registering as a volunteer is March 31st.

      All persons volunteering need to visit the Central Texas Conference website at www.ctxumc.org and click on the logo for General Conference to register as a volunteer for the General Conference. If you are a District Day Volunteer and the Conference Volunteer Coordinator contacts you, please indicate that you are a District Day Volunteer.
